Michele Bucci
Michele Bucci, born in 1989, is a director, screenwriter and editor. After earning a Bachelor's degree in Media Design from the Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti (NABA) in Milan, he specialized in cinema and television at IULM University in Milan, where he directed and edited his first medium-length documentary, "Lukamonzungu" (2016), filmed in Zambia. In 2016 and 2019, he collaborated with director Fabio Dipinto as editor of the documentaries "I Volti della Via Francigena" and "La Voce del Mare", both distributed in cinemas by Cineama. In 2022, he won the "Occhi sul Lago" award at the 24th edition of the CortoLovere International Film Festival for writing and directing his first fiction short film "Margine", distributed by Premiere Film and selected and awarded at various national and international festivals. In 2024, he wrote and directed his second fiction short film "Meteora", currently in festival distribution with Pathos Distribution.
