Giuseppe Rossi (born on September 8, 1993 in Avellino, Italy) is a director, writer and editor. Graduated with a Master’s degree in Philosophy at Sapienza University of Rome in 2019 and in Film Directing at Libera Università del Cinema of Rome in 2016. When he was still a student in high school his short film ‘Antiora’ won the MyGiffoni Award at the Giffoni Film Festival 2010. He has written, directed and edited a lot of short films such as the romantic comedy ‘Limerence’, the dark fantasy animation ‘Voodoo Love Story’ (finalist at Nastri D’Argento Awards 2015), the psychological thriller ‘Chromotherapy’ and the action fantasy ‘Blue Crystel’ (winner of many international awards for best visual effects). In 2020 Rossi has founded the 2D & 3D Animation Film Festival and directed the documentary ’90 Seconds’ about the 1980 Irpinia earthquake (in the official selection of Capri Hollywood Film Festival 2020). Actually he has several feature films in development. His major artistic influences are Steven Spielberg, Tim Burton, Christopher Nolan, Federico Fellini and Mario Bava.
