I live and work in Rome, the decadent city of Cinema. I’m passionate in Electronics since I was child: I was used to disassemble my father’s electronic devices to understand their mechanism but I wasn’t able to re-assemble them making him very angry! After destroying my father’s properties I’ve studied Cinema and Theater at University where I graduated with a Multimedia thesis over the early years of Charlie Chaplin. Then I’ve worked for several years as Videomaker and Editor for TVs/WebTVs. I’ve started making my own short movies self-taught for fun using the rising digital technologies and involving lovely friends. After the first prizes in National short competitions I understood I had to grow up my knowledge so I came back to school again enrolling in a Master in Screenplay and in a professional course for Directing. My passion for disassembling things found a new dimension. I understood the power of Cinema to “dismount” time using light and with a great wonder I’ve followed on making short movies involving the same old lovely friends. With “Pre Carità” in 2012 I won more than 40 International Prizes and I was selected as finalist in the italian “Golden Globes”. Following on working as Videomaker in 2017 I discovered “Virtual Reality” and I got so excited! A new dismounting tool has arrived, and with my first VR project “Chromatica” I won the first “Biennale College“ edition for Virtual Reality. “Chromatica” was shown at the 74th Venice International Film Festival and then travelled the world through the newly born circuit of VR Festivals. With this experience I’ve had the chance to discover a truly deep and unexplored world that let me strongly believe in Virtual Reality not only as a new media but as a new form of human vision.
