Flavio Nani

As film director and creative executive producer, I have built a versatile and contemporary profile working with brands, production companies, creative agencies and broadcasters. In my filmmaking I have focused on storytelling. I depict reality from a cinematographic perspective through short movies, commercials, documentaries and video contents. In 2016, within the creative agency The Big Now, I founded The Big Angle, one of Italy’s first in-house production units. After the agency acquisition by Dentsu International, I led the production house through its growth and expansion, managing a 2.5 million euro portfolio in just over 4 years from its creation. During this time I produced and directed commercials and original contents for brands such as Coca Cola, Adidas, American Express, Vodafone, Google, Spotify, DAZN. Currently I’m also a Lecturer at NABA Milano, teaching Video Production for Advertising in the 2-year Masters of Art Degree Program. “B·52”, my latest short movie made in collaboration with Amnesty International, won several awards around the world (among others, Best Short Film at L.A. Sci-fi Film Festival and Top Ten at Berlin Commercial). In 2020 it was broadcasted on Sky Italy and Discovery Network; it was featured on shots.net.
